Dr. Steve Velez
Dr. Steve Velez, known to his patients as “Dr. Steve”, obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2003. His love of working with children led him to complete an additional 2 years in the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Upon graduation in 2005, he opened his first practice in Schertz, Tx. He expanded in 2014 and opened Seguin Children’s Dentistry as a part-time practice. After successfully serving his patients in Schertz for 11 years, he realized that his heart was in one-on-one interaction and that he missed owning a small practice. He sold his practice in Schertz in 2015 to focus solely on what he loves to do the most: spend quality time with each patient that he sees.
Dr. Velez is married to his college sweetheart and is the proud father of 3 children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and an occasional game of tennis.
